MacBook Pro with Retina display and new design
The 15-inch MacBook Pro is now also available in a high-end version. The new model is much slimmer and lighter than the normal MacBook Pro and is also equipped with a high-resolution Retina display. At 1.8 cm and only a good 2 kg, it adapts to the MacBook Air.
The resolution of the Retina display is a record-breaking 220 pixels per inch. Intel's new Core i5/i7 chips (Ivy Bridge) with Turbo Boost mode provide more power. The optical drive and a hard drive were omitted. For this purpose, the device was equipped with SSD storage.
In addition to the fast Thunderbolt ports, there are also an SD card slot, two USB 3.0 ports and an HDMI port.
Redesigned MacBook Pro and MacBook Air
Apple has also made some improvements to the conventional MacBook Pro model . The device is now available with either 13 or 15 inches. The 17-inch version is no longer available.
